RV Pre-Purchase Inspections
There's nothing worse than taking your new RV on it's maiden voyage only to find out that it has mechanical issues that ruin your vacation. To add insult to injury, the wait to have your new RV repaired at the dealership can take months to complete.

Whether you're considering buying a new or pre-owned RV, having the unit inspected by a certified inspector that has your best interest in mind is a wise investment.

The inspection process will look at all components inside and out of the RV that are accessible at the time of inspection. You will receive a detailed inspection report that will give you peace of mind about the purchase or persuade you to walk away from the deal. It can also give you some bargaining power.

In addition, your financial institution may be willing to roll the cost of the pre-purchase inspection into your loan as the inspection protects their vested interest.

RV Preventative Maintenance
Preventive maintenance is vital when it comes to enjoying your RV. Unfortunately, recreational vehicles do not share the same reliability as today's automobiles.
-
Air Conditioning: At best, your rooftop air conditioner will barely keep you comfortable in the Texas summer heat. The evaporator and condenser coils must be cleaned at least annually for best performance.
-
Roof: The Texas heat wreaks havoc on rubber roof membranes and sealants. A semi-annual check of the roof sealants is recommended to prevent water intrusion from causing major damage to your RV.
-
Electrical System: Did you know that loose electrical connections cause increased resistance and heat in electrical circuits? This can be a major contributor to electrical circuit failures and fires. An annual check of the electrical connections in the electrical panel, converter and/or inverter can keep your electrical system in safe condition.
-
Water Heater: Just like your home, RV water heaters suffer from mineral deposit build up due to hard water. This build up can coat the electric heating element which results in reduced heating ability. In Suburban brand water heaters, the anode rod must be checked and replaced periodically or the water tank will begin to deteriorate. In addition, the propane burner system needs to be inspected for obstructions caused by insects or dirt daubers.

Maximizing A/C Performance
In order for your rooftop A/C to keep you comfortable during the hot months the entire system must be in top performing condition, including the air flow ductwork system.

Oftentimes, the ductwork comes from the factory with many restrictions that impede the maximum air flow needed to keep you cool.
We can inspect your A/C and heating ductwork and eliminate restrictions to maximize airflow as illustrated in these pictures.
